Feeling stuck?
You don’t have to have a mental illness to want to work on your mental health
I work with people who want something to change.
Evidence-based, trauma-informed, a down to earth attitude and a touch of humour.
Hi, I’m Caitlyn
(she/her)
I'm a Clinical Psychologist and Supervisor, who actually loves her work! I feel incredibly privileged to spend my days listening to people's stories, learning from them, and helping them navigate life's challenges.
Purpose
I appreciate how frustrating it can be to feel stuck. My aim is to help you build the understanding, skills and confidence to navigate whatever life throws at you, both during therapy and well beyond it.
Presence
For those interested, I also work alongside a cheeky mini-groodle named Hugo who, although having graduated his therapy dog training, is really just a big sucker for pats and naps in a cosy therapy room.
Playfulness
I take a warm, collaborative approach to therapy and have found that humour and a down-to-earth attitude can help create the safety and trust that meaningful and effective therapy is built on.
Philosophy
The
process
Whether it’s reaching out for the first time, or reaching out again when previous support hasn’t been what you’d hoped for, taking the plunge can be a little scary. Here’s a little step by step to help simplify the process.
Specialist areas
My approach is grounded in meeting you exactly where you are, meaning I work with a wide range of presentations.
Rather than being confined by diagnostic labels, I prefer to work directly with the unique symptoms presenting in your life.
That being said, maybe some of the labels below resonate with you?
